KOKOkim Spring/Summer Collection 2014

Wednesday, January 22, 2014

I've been completely in love with KOKOkim ever since I first found out about it. I made a post about their first collection, KOKOkim x GLAD NEWS, and I'm happy to say that they are launching a new collection that will be available in April (right now they're available for pre-order only).

The shoes and the bag are just sooo pretty! I would love to have the shoes in black and the bag in lavender. They're simply perfect!

I love the style of these clothes, especially the sweet pastel color combinations. Which one is your favorite?

Design

The design is simply perfect in my opinion. I love the subtle but still noticeable timbal ring, and I like how the inner part blends perfectly with my natural iris. Except for the color difference, it's hard to tell where the lens starts and my natural iris begins, which is good! All of these traits make these lenses look relatively natural.

Color

These lenses have a gorgeous light gray color. The color shows up very nicely even though they are a bit sheer, which is one of the only things that bugs me a bit. You can see the edge of your natural iris up close, but it doesn't really show at all in real life. These will most likely look better on lighter eyes, like blue or gray ones.

Comfort

This part is starting to feel a bit pointless since I'm going say the same thing I always do anyways - They're very comfortable! I could wear them for several hours without any kind of irritation. To be honest, I hardly ever feel any difference at all when it comes to comfort in wearing lenses. They all feel the same to me nowadays!

Enlargement

The enlargement is very good, but there are many other lenses that can give you better enlargement. But like I said, still very good!

Overall Opinion

The color is simply gorgeous and I love how well they blend with my natural iris, which makes them look relatively natural. And on top of that they are also 14.8mm which makes my eyes looks huge! Can it get any better? They are definitely suitable for both natural and heavier makeup looks. I'm really into gray and light blue contacts right now, but I'm curious about trying these in other colors too. What do you think about them?

FACE Stockholm Cosme Gets

Sunday, January 19, 2014

Hello, lovelies~! I've been in Stockholm to work for the past few days and I stopped by at FACE Stockholm to pick up some products before a Photoshoot. The more I use the products from FACE Stockholm the more I love them. I think of myself as very lucky for being able to work with these products and the amazing people behind them. Talking about amazing people, I also had the pleasure to meet one of my favorite ladies again, Gun Nowak - The founder of FACE Stockholm and sweetest lady ever.

Anyhow, let me tell you a bit more about the products I got this time.

Lipsticks & Lipgloss

First of up are these gorgeous lipsticks. I've pretty much always and only used pink shades before but I'm completely in love with these orange and red shades.

The lipsticks themselves are simply amazing! The shades are just too gorgeous and they stay on forever. Seduction, Citrus & Matte Ginger are my new favorites. Love!

Shades from left to right, top to bottom: Seduction, Citrus, Grace, Please, Matte Sangria, Matte Orange, Hibiscus, Matte Ginger, Lipgloss #17

Eyeshadows & Blush

Matte Eyeshadow Palette 1 (Not in order): Sophisticated, Umbria, Hazelnut, Brunögd, Russian Caviar, Ljusgrå, Black, White (I forgot the name of two of them. I'll update when I figured it out)
Matte Eyeshadow Palette 2: Treasure, Unforgettable, Stubborn, Noisy, Demanding, Christo, Surprise, Njutbar, Baby Pink & Angel Pink
Blush Palette: Rosa, Organza, Willing (I think) & Personality

I got a whole lot of eyeshadows! I use a lot of neutral tones which is why I naturally got a whole palette including these pretty shades. However, I'm planning to use more colors for when I work, especially for this year's Melodifestivalen, which is why me and Gun put together this crazy color palette too.

Some more stuff! I originally wanted the purple and pink eyeshadow in the color palette, but they weren't available in pan format at the time.

Unfortunately, we were in such a hurry to the Photoshoot that I didn't have time to pick up everything I was supposed to get this time, especially a lot of new products from their summer collection - Like the cream eyeshadows (which I only got one of) for example. I guess I'll just have to stop by again next time.

Product names, from left to right: Brow Shadow in Björk & Myrrah, Nail Polish in #50, Highlighter in Radiance, Crème Blush in Rio, Pearl Shadow in #8 & #35, Cream Eye Shadow in Linne, Highlighter in Destiny, Matte Eyeshadow in Praise & Breathless

That's it for now, lovelies. Bye bye
