Design

At first glance I didn't like the design of the lenses, but they look super pretty when worn! They look very natural since they don't have a distinct limbal ring and the pattern is very discrete and blends in well with my natural iris. They would probably look even better and natural if you have naturally brown eyes.

Color

A dark reddish brown. I was a bit disappointed since these lenses looked more like a golden brown in other pictures I saw. I'm not a big fan of reddish browns, but they actually do look more dark brown or black and you can only see the reddish tone when up close.

Enlargement

I usually don't think that lenses without a limbal ring give me as much of a enlarging effect, but these really make my eyes look huge even without a noticeable limbal ring!

Comfort

I was surprised of how comfortable these lenses are! Big lenses usually make my eyes feel pretty dry but when wearing them I didn't have any problems at all!

Overall

I  like that they look very natural and make my eyes look like they're naturally dark brown. Even though they look natural they still make my eyes stand out because I have light hair and pale skin. I simply love them!

Sorry for no "Outdoors" and full face pic this time, guys! I had a bad camera day and the pictures just didn't come out well (not even the ones above are the best quality). It's too bad since I really like these lenses, but I might update this post in the future.

6♥Princess by Takashi Murakami for Shu Uemura

Pink or Black?
Every woman has duality in her.
Nice vs Naughty
Innocent vs Sexy
Transform into your other self!

Concept
In collaboration with 6♡PRINCESS, Takashi Murakami’s animation work, shu uemura introduces the holiday collection themed on the “dual beauty” of pink and black princess. Every woman has pink side and black side in her, nice and naughty, innocent and sexy. Play with fascinating multi-faceted beauty and freely transform yourself from pink to black, black to pink.

This concept is very interesting and creative, and I absolutely love it; I'm personally always torn between pink which is sweet and innocent or black which is sexy and cool. I definitely want to try out these products!

Jill Stuart My Dear Strawberry Collection / ジルスチュアート マイディアストロベリー コレクション

Wednesday, October 23, 2013

"In stores from November 1, 2013 Limited Edition JILL STUART My Dear Strawberry Collection. A strawberry-sweet makeup collection. A vanity pouch designed to look like a strawberry cake contains four limited edition items; four eye colors, loose powder, lip gloss and mascara. " Click here to know more!

I have a big weakness for cute packaging and the design of these products is absolutely gorgeous. I fell in love as soon as I saw them! I've heard of Jill Stuart in the past but I've never actually tried out any of their products.

I checked out the online shop and found many more pretty sweet products! One thing I really like are the eyeshadow palettes; The design of the pans is just too cute and the combinations of shades are really pretty. This brand is definitely next on my list of brands to try out; especially because of this cute collection. I hope I can get my hands on it when it's released!

Dreamv New Items ♡

Dreamv has a lot of nice items this season, both new and rearriving. Here are some of my favorites:

Both of these coats are super cute, but I especially like the short one (to the left). The collar and the details are so pretty! I'm considering to get it in brown or black.

Coats like the one to the left are really popular in Sweden now, but I must say that classic trench coats never go out of style in my opinion.

I can never get enough of cute room wear! They both look so soft and cozy, and the colors are just too gorgeous.

Say yes to nice, warm sweaters and fur leg warmers this winter!

The Mouton boots are back; now with a detachable ribbon! I really need to get a new pair since my old ones are starting to go, and I guess another pair of high boots wouldn't hurt either!

I've always been a fan of quilted bags, so I'm really glad to see that they seem to be popular again this season!

My Favorite Powders - For pale skin & Great coverage

Hello Lovelies~! It has always been a bit of a challenge for me to find good base makeup since I'm very fair (with a beige undetone), have oily, uneven skin and dark circles. This means that I need to find a powder that will suit my fair skin (doesn't make it darker), has good oil-control and good coverage (same goes for Foundation/BB Cream). The powders I'm going to mention in this posts are absolutely amazing and are the ones that have worked the best for me (considering my skin type and skin tone) so far. At first I was thinking of doing a review for each one of these powders, but since I think that all of them are amazing I decided to include all of them in the same post to make more of an overall review and tell you why I these are my favorite powders.

Disclaimer:
Keep in mind that the products I mentioned work best for me, which means that they aren't necessarily the best choice for you since everyone has different skin tones and skin types.

1. Make Up Store Dual Foundation
This powder has become my absolute favorite of all time. It has amazing buildable coverage which gives a flawless and smooth but still natural finish. It has the best oil-control out of all powders I've tried and at the same time it keeps my skin moisturized and doesn't make my skin look dry. I also love how smooth the texture of the powder itself is. I use it in the shade called 'Helsinki'. There's honestly not much more to say since this powder is simply perfect in every way.

Make Up Store claims:
"Dual Foundation is a creamy-powder with a matt and covering finish. It suits every skin type. Apply it with a sponge for an even skin and skin tone. If you wet the sponge the foundation gets even more coverage. The product is perfect when ever you need a touch up.
Key ingredients:
Meadowfoam Seed Oil: Prevents drying, acts moisturizing.
Shea butter: Moisturizing and protecting.
Silica: Gives a nice, soft feeling. Prevents dehydration, absorbs oil, acts mattifying."

2. MAC Cosmetics Studio Fix
This powder used to be my favorite one, but Make Up Store's Dual Foundation has taken its place simply because the Dual Foundation suits my skin tone slightly better and has better oil-control. The coverage is amazing, it's very long-lasting and gives you a natural finish, although my skin does end up quite shiny at the end of the day; Probably because this powder let's your skin "breathe". I guess this would be perfect for those who want to have glowy and radiant skin. I use this one in NC15 (and that's the closest one to my skintone out of the Studio Fix powders).

MAC claims:
"A one-step powder and foundation that provides a smooth, flawless, all-matte, full-coverage finish. Long-wearing, velvety texture allows skin to breathe. Available in a wide range of colours."

3. Lumene Touch of Radiance Powder
This powder is seriously underrated since it's pretty amazing, especially considering how cheap it is. I use it in 1 Translucent, which claims to suit most skintones. The reason why I love it so much is because it's great for those with pale skin (like me) and it has amazing coverage. The only downside with this powder is that it can make my skin quite dry (just like many other drugstore powders) after using it for a longer period of time, even though my skintype is oily. I don't use this powder anymore since I prefer the other two I mentioned, but if you don't want to spend 30-40USD on a powder, this is probably the best choice for you.

Lumene claims:
"Luminous and silky matt finish. Lumene Touch of Radiance Powder keeps skin shine-free and naturally matt all day long while providing soft powder veil with luminous freshness. The unique formula with illluminating pigments comforts the skin making it smooth and radiant, all day long. With micro-tiny invisible luminosity and soft-focus pigments powder optically minimizes wrinkles and gives radiant yet lively matt finish. Illuminating pigments are not visible pearls and therefore very suitable also for more mature women. Contains skin protecting Arctic Cloudberry. 8 g."

I hope that you'll discover how great these powders are and that you will love them just as much as I do. If you've already tried one of these or have another favorite powder that is similar, please let me know in the comment section! Bye for now, lovelies!
