Hello, dreamers! Chuu is back with another collaboration with Estherlovesyou, which is called EstherlovesChuu season.5. You can check it out at chuu.co.kr

I already have so many things from Chuu but I just can't get enough of it. Like I said so many times, it is literally my favourite brand of all time. This time, I will get the Lovely Ribbon MTM in Purple, the Patch cap (Haven't decided on the color yet), the Striped Knit and one of the phone cases.

I know that I said in some of my previous posts that I will do a haul on all of the things I bought from Chuu, but I've always post-poned it because new collections kept coming out and I've also been in the middle of exams and moving. I'm done with all of that now tho, so after I get the items from this collection I will definitely start doing some videos, but at this point I think I'll just do a collection or showcase video instead.

Anyway, you should definitely check out their new collection at chuu.co.kr

[Review] PrincessPinky Cloudy Green (on Green Eyes)

Wednesday, November 1, 2017

Hello, dreamers! I'm back with another review of a pair of gorgeous circle lenses from Pinkyparadise.com! First of all, let's look at the pictures. I'll give you some short overviews of the  lenses along the way and finally I'll tell you about my more personal and overall thoughts of these lenses. Let's go!

Packaging
As always, Pinkyparadise sent me a very carefully and safely wrapped package containing all of the things in the picture above. Including a pair of lenses, I also got a cute animal lens case, a couple of hair velcro thingys (I still don't know what they're called, haha), and for the first time ever I also got a set of really cute and useful stickers. Let's take a closer look at the lenses.

Lens Information
Brand: Princess Pinky (Dueba/Barbie)
Origin: South Korea
Diameter: 14.5mm
Water Content: 38%
Base Curve: 8.6mm
Life Span: Yearly

Color & Design
The design of these lenses is very soft which makes them blend in perfectly with the natural eye color. Like the name suggests, they look kind of cloudy. The color is a subtle and light olive green which I absolutely love because most green lenses I've seen are either a dark forest green or bright spring green, which in my opinion can look quite unnatural. They have a nice and subtle limbal ring which is a darker olive green color. In addition to all of this, They are also quite opaque so they won't look a lot darker even if you're eyes are a darker color. To keep it simple, both the color and design looks very natural and it probably doesn't matter what eye color you have if you want to use these lenses.

Enlargement & Comfort
The enlarging effect is surprisingly good! They don't have the same big and dolly eye effect that dark lenses or lenses with a darker limbal ring have, but the enlarging effect of these is really great.

They are also quite comfortable. I can wear them all day without experiencing any discomfort or dryness. There's pretty much not any difference compared to other lenses that I've tried when it comes to the comfort.

Overall
I have naturally green/hazel(ish?) eyes, but I've always been looking for a pair of green lenses that would make my eyes look bigger and brighter in a natural way. My previously favourite green lenses were the Vassen Rainbow Eyes Light Greenish and Super Pinky Green; I still really like them but they are a bit smaller and darker than I would like them to be, respectively.

I was so excited to try out these lenses because they looked perfect to me, and I'm happy to say that that's exactly what they are. The color is a beautiful subtle green which was the most important to me. Like I mentioned before, the coverage is really great which allows my eyes to look a lot lighter and more vibrant than they are, while the design also makes them blend in really well into my natural eye color. These lenses are everything that I ever wanted in a pair of lenses!

At last but not least, here's a selfie for ya'll! I took this selfie on a different occasion than when I took the close-up pictures and also with my iPhone instead of my camera, so the color and quality might look a little bit different. I would say that the color looks the most true to what it is in real life like looks in this picture.

I want to give a big thanks to Pinkyparadise for the opportunity to try out these lenses, because they are officially my favourite lenses of all time. Click here to get a pair of your own!

I hope you enjoyed this review! Thank you so much for reading. Bye for now, dreamers!
