[Review] Peripera Dal Dal Factory Airy Ink Cushion #1 Ivory [리뷰] 페리페라 달달공장 에어리 잉크 쿠션 #1 아이보리

Wednesday, August 29, 2018

Hello, dreamers! In this post I'll be reviewing the Peripera Dal Dal Factory Airy Ink Cushion in #1 Ivory. Peripera is a korean Cosmetics brand, but I got my cushion at a cosmetics store in Shibuya, Tokyo. The Peripera stores are all over Seoul and you can also get this cushion online. I'll keep it short and sweet and let the pictures do most of the talking. You can also check out my video review at the bottom of this post! So anyway, let's take a closer look!

The reason why I got this in the first place is obviously because it's ridiculously adorable. I have a favourite foundation which I've used for a couple of years, so I never really felt the need to get any other foundation or BB cream, but I just had to have this as soon as I saw it.

Like I said, Peripera is a Korean Makeup brand, but as you can see everything written on the packaging is in Japanese. Which means I have no idea what it says, haha.

I got this BB cushion in #1 Ivory. This BB Cushion comes in 3 different shades - #1 Ivory, #2 Beige and #3 Sand.

The case itself is a baby blue color. The lid contains these adorable sprinkles in blue, pink, purple and white. The background is light pink with sparkly little stars.

The inside is also a baby blue, and the backside of the cushion is a light pink.

Like most BB cushions, the BB cream looks quite dark at first glance, but it turns out a lot brighter when applied on the skin.

Here's a swatch on the back of my hand. My hands and fingers always look ridiculously red on camera although they are far from it, so the shade of the BB cream looks like it wouldn't match at all.

Check out my video below where you can see what my face looks like before and after I apply the BB Cushion!

OVERALL OPINION
Like I mentioned earlier, I already have a favourite foundation called Double Lasting Foundation (in Ivory) from Etude House, so I didn't expect too much from this BB Cream when I first bought it - I literally only got it because it was cute. However, I was pleasantly surprised that this BB Cushion has amazing coverage, it doesn't get blotchy and cakey even in the hot weather we're having right now and it also has this every so slightly dewy finish which I really love. I got a bit of a tan over summer so I actually could've gone for one of the darker shades, but although this BB cream looks quite white on my skin when I frist apply it, it does blend in very well with my skin tone after a little while. It basically does all the things my favourite foundation does, so overall, I'm extremely happy with it.

Let me know what you think in the comments! Thank you so much for reading. Bye for now, dreamers!

[Review] Secret Change Hair Color Cream in Mystic Grey - 시크릿 체인지 헤어 컬러크림 미스틱그레이

Tuesday, August 14, 2018

Hello, dreamers! In this post I'm going to review the Secret Change Hair Color Cream in Mystic Grey. I've previously tried this brand's Hair Bleach and Hair Color in Ash Purple. I love grey and silver hair so when I saw this hair color I just had to try it out. Let's take a closer look!

So, first of all I got this hair dye at Olive Young here in Seoul for only a few dollars per box (around 3000-4000KRW each), which is super cheap. However, they don't contain a lot of dye so make sure to get enough boxes if you decide to try out this hair dye.

I have a problem with my hair turning too blue/green than I would like when I attempt to dye my hair grey or silver, so the fact that this hair color looks to be on the pink/purple side made me hopeful of achieving the shade of grey I desired.

One box of hair dye contains 2 packs of hair cream and 2 packs of developer, as shown in the picture above. I used 2 boxes (8 packs in total) to dye my hair. This was exactly enough to cover all of my hair, which is pretty thin & short.

Here comes the before and after. As you can see, the color turned into a really pretty grey all over my hair except on my roots where I hadn't previously bleached it.

Check out the video below to see the dying process.

Overall, I really like this hair color. It's more of a temporary dye rather than a permanent dye. The dye lasts for a couple of washes before turning into a lighter silver color. As I mentioned before, my hair easily picks up blue and green shades while having a hard time to hold onto warm tones; the tones that I want basically just run right off of my hair. However, the color turns out really pretty right after dyeing it. It's basically my ideal shade of grey for hair. Even though it faded quickly for me, I've managed to keep it a pretty nice silver color with pink & purple toners. I really recommend this hair color if you're just looking for a temporary change or if you want a good starting point to get grey/silver hair.

[Review] PrincessPinky Cloudy Violet (on Green Eyes)

Tuesday, August 7, 2018

Hello, dreamers! I'm back with another Circle Lenses review and I'm so excited because this time I'm doing a review of the Princess Pinky Cloudy Violet from Pinkyparadise. Ive done review on the ones in Green and Blue too and I loved both of them a lot. Let's take a closer look at these ones in purple!

DESIGN & COLOR
The design is soft and cloudy, as the name suggests, and blends in perfectly with the natural eye color even though it's a completely different color. The color is a beautiful purple, which is soft but still clearly purple, with a slightly darker purple ring outlining the lens. However, I actually wish that the color was a bit lighter; they are somewhat dark in my opinion, especially compared to the Cloudy Blue lenses.

ENLARGEMENT & COMFORT
These lenses are 14.5mm and give me just the right amount of enlargement. They are not too big or too small. They are very comfortable and do not strain my eyes in any way, which makes them perfect for everyday wear.

As you can see, the lenses look very vibrant in the close-up pictures when they are in fact a bit more subtle in color, so take a look at my selca below for a better example of what they actually look like in real life.

I take my selfies with my iPhone instead of my Camera so there's a big difference in quality. I don't know if others notice this but it's quite annoying to me which is why I had to mention it. Unfortunately, I can't help it because I just can't figure out a convenient way to take selfies with my Camera.

OVERALL
The design and colors are what make this series of lenses my favourite of all time. They blend in with the natural eye so well and the colors are soft and beautiful. The enlarging effect is just right too. I honestly can't choose a favourite pair out of the colors I've tried so far because they are all amazing in their own way. I really can't wait to try out some other colors in the future.

I apologise for the short review this time around. I've already reviewed these lenses in two other colors before, so in this post I focused a bit more on talking about the color of the lenses and just let the pictures speak for themselves. If you would like to know a little bit more about my opinion, feel free check out my reviews of the Princess Pinky Cloudy Green and Cloudy Blue too, which are a bit more detailed in the writing.

In any case, these lenses were kindly sponsored by PinkyParadise, so if you like these lenses, make sure to get your get yours here or browse their website for many other beautiful lenses.
