Pink & Black Nails

Tuesday, February 24, 2015

Hello, lovelies! I was taking photos of some MA*RS accessories that I'm going to put up for sale in my shop, so I couldn't resist to match my nails with the accessories while I was at it. The design is very simple but I absolutely love black nails with a colorful accent nail like this. The bow I'm holding in the picture is actually part of a "hand cuff" and is one of the accessories that will soon be available at lovelishop.

If you happen to be interested in the MA*RS accessories, make sure to keep a lookout at lovelishop.storenvy.com. I would also love to know your opinion about the nails. Do you prefer simple designs like this, more au naturel, or maybe even extravagant? Feel free to let me know in the comments.
Bye for now, lovelies!

Babydoll Essentials

Wednesday, February 18, 2015

Hello, lovelies! I've been trying to get more into Photography and editing lately and I was really inspired by a picture I saw on Tumblr so I wanted to try to create something similar.

SAM_4293

I basically just placed a lot of my pink things very neatly on a furry carpet, and for the finishing touch in Photoshop I aimed to give it a very girly and kind of vintage look. Choosing and organizing all of the things I wanted to include in the picture was kind of like playing Tetris and it was actually a lot of fun. I'm pleased with how this picture turned out. What do you think?

KOKOkim Haul

Sunday, February 8, 2015

Hi, lovelies! As some of you might know I absolutely love KOKOkim and I'm especially obsessed with this particular print from their first collection. You can buy clothes from KOKOkim from a few international online stores, like YesStyle or Rakuten, but some of their clothing, especially from their earlier collections, is kind of hard to find. After searching everywhere, I finally got my hands on some of their clothes that I've wanted for a long time.

I found these amazingly cute Sweatsuit sets at Storenvy store. I actually found them by 'accident' after randomly finding a store on Storenvy and looking through what they had to offer. My jaw almost dropped when I saw that they had these sets. Haha! I can't wait to start wearing them in summer.

I got this hoodie second-hand from Mbok and the top from YesStyle. This top is one of my favorite tops ever; It's a perfect fit, and like I said, the print is just to die for. As for the hoodie I actually wanted to get the same model but with a different print, but I settled for this one since it was the only one I could find. However, I was so happy to even find a KOKOkim hoodie at all so I just had to have it!

As long as you use a good shopping service (like I do), auction sites like Mbok are really useful 'cause if you're lucky you can find sold out/discontinued items just like I found this hoodie. It's really convenient! Anyway, I'm still on the hunt for some items from KOKOkim's previous collections and I really hope I can find them. Have you ever used a shopping service to buy clothes from abroad? I would love to hear about your experience!
Bye for now, lovelies!

Galaxy Nails

Saturday, February 7, 2015

Hi, lovelies! I thought that it was time to do my nails again. I wanted to do something different rather than the usual glitter gradient I do so I decided to try out this Galaxy design. It's really easy to do but one thing I thought was difficult was to choose where to place the "nebulas" and which colors to use since there are so many different combinations to choose from. Anyway, this is the result:

I'm really happy with how the design turned out in the end, but I realized that the fine glitter I used on top of everything was a little too overpowering (It shows up more in real life than in the photo).

This was my first time doing a design like this and I might do a tutorial on how to do it since I really like the design. And since I've learned from my mistakes I guess that I will be able to make it look even better next time. What do you think?

Seoul Mini Makeup Haul (Etude House, Tony Moly, MISSHA)

Friday, February 6, 2015

Hello, lovelies! Like I mentioned in my previous post I got myself a few Makeup products during my trip to Seoul and some of these have become my favorite products of all time. I'm just going to do a quick overview on them for now since I'm going to make detailed reviews on them in the nearest future. Anyways, this is what I got.

SAM_4527

Etude House Princess Eyelashes Longlash 02 & 03
First off are these eyelashes from Etude. I was having a hard time deciding whether to get them or not since I usually like more dramatic lashes rather than natural-looking, but I've really come to like them and use them all the time!

Etude House Golden Ratio Face Glow #2 Pink
This is a an amazing highlighter product that contains two different types of highlighters. The first one is a liquid highlighter that you can use as a base highlighter on your face, and if you open the cap on the lid there is also a cream-type highlighter for the eye area.

Etude House Face Designing Brightener #Dolly Face
This is also a highlighter but in powder form. The color is a very lovely pale and shimmering lavender.

Etude House Play 101 Pencil #4
I bought the exact same pencil last time I was in Seoul, but I actually lost it and since I absolutely loved it I just had to get a new one. The play 101 Pencil's come in lots of colors and can be used in many different ways. This one is a glitter type pen in a light pinky beige color.

Tony Moly Crystal Blusher 04 Milky Violet, 07 Bronzing Brown, 16 Pink Bright
I've been wanting to try the 04 Milky Violet blush for a long time and I'm happy that I finally got it since it's honestly the best blush I have ever used in my entire life. No kidding! The color is incredibly pretty and really compliments my skintone. I'm not too impressed by other ones I bought tho. The Bronzing Brown, which is a contour shade, turned out to be too warm for my taste. The 16 Pink Bright is pretty and suitable for a more natural highlighting effect, but I prefer the highlighters I got from Etude.

MISSHA Signature Glam Art Rouge SPK106  & MISSHA The Style Glam Fit Gloss PK01
I absolutely loved the MISSHA Signature Glam Art Rouge in SPK101 that I got so I decided to get another one in SPK106 and I also got a matching lipgloss.

As you can see some of these products are already a little worn out since I've been using them a lot. Sorry about that! Haha.

Anyways, It's always fun to buy beauty products in physical stores, but you can get most of these products at w2beauty.com and other various online beauty suppliers. You can get a $5 Voucher at w2beauty if you click this link and register or enter my code '147034811' when you register.

Thanks for reading and happy shopping!
Bye for now, lovelies!
