[Review] Etude House Silk Scarf Hair Moist Pack

Tuesday, December 20, 2016

Hello, dreamers! I love Etude House's products but I realised that I'd never tried any of their hair products before, so along with a few other things I picked up the Silk Scarf Hair Moist Pack which I'm going to review today. I also got their hair spry and dry shampoo, but I'm going to talk about those another time. I'm pretty excited because like I said, this is the first hair product I've ever tried from Etude House!  Let's take a closer look.

The packaging is so simple but so cute. Typical Etude style.

The highly moisturizing pack makes dry, frizzy hair moisturized.

Description
Specially formulated with oil complex and floral scent, this intensively restorative hair pack deeply nourishes, strengthens,
and rejuvenates very dry and damaged hair to minimize breakage while maximizing shine, silkiness, and manageability.

Directions
Use once or twice a week. Massage into hair and comb through evenly with fingers. Let treatment work for 5 minutes and rinse thoroughly.

Caution
1. For external use only.
2. Avoid contact with eyes.
3. Keep out of reach of children.
4. Discontinue use if signs of irritation and/or rash appear.

Ingredients
WATER, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, GLYCERIN, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, ADANSONIA DIGITATA FRUIT EXTRACT, CAMELLIA JAPONICA SEED OIL, MACADAMIA INTEGRIFOLIA SEED OIL, ARGANIA SPINOSA KERNEL OIL, HELIANTHUS ANNUUS (SUNFLOWER) SEED OIL, DIMETHICONE, CETYL ETHYLHEXANOATE, BEHENTRIMONIUM CHLORIDE, STEARTRIMONIUM CHLORIDE, QUATERNIUM-80, PROPYLENE GLYCOL DICAPRYLATE/DICAPRATE, PANTHENYL ETHYL ETHER, LAURETH-3, LAURETH-23, POLYQUATERNIUM-37, PPG-1 TRIDECETH-6, CITRIC ACID, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, METHYLCHLOROISOTHIAZOLINONE, METHYLISOTHIAZOLINONE, PHENOXYETHANOL, FRAGRANCE(PARFUM), YELLOW 5 (CI 19140), RED 33 (CI 17200)

The lid opens easily and closes tightly so there's no problem with keeping it in the shower. When you first open it there's a protective plastic lid covering the product. Even the product looks pink inside the package!

The texture is quite thick, jelly-like and a little bit clumpy. It contains 180 ml (6.09 fl. Oz.) of product which is quite a lot in my opinion.

This is the bottom where the Directions and the Ingredients are listed.

The directions don't specify exactly how you should use it but my tip is to apply it after shampoo and before conditioner. Use and rinse your shampoo, apply the hair pack, leave it in for 3-5 min (or more), wash it out and then use your conditioner as usual. This is such an obvious and common knowledge to me now but some people actually don't know the correct order for using shampoo/treatment/conditioner. I was confused at first too!

My opinion
This is a decent hair pack that leaves my hair smelling nice and feeling super soft. My hair tends to get very oily very easily and fast, but after using this I don't think my hair becomes more or less oily than usual, even though I don't really avoid applying it to my roots. My hair is normal quality and I don't think there's a visible difference in my hair after using this which is why I haven't added any before and after pictures.

Repurchase? Probably not. Don't get me wrong- I think this is a nice product and I like it, but to be completely honest I feel like most other hair packs from regular beauty stores (or even convenience stores) will do the exact same thing as this hair pack does. It's really cheap at only $10.40 so if you have easy access to an Etude House store it's definitely worth a try, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get this (online, for example, where you usually have to pay for shipping and wait for the product to arrive in the first place) when you instead can get any other hair mask at your local beauty store.

What do you think? Have you tried any of Etude House's hair products? Let me know in the comment section!
Thank you so much for reading and bye for now~

[Review] Etude House Look At My Eyes PK004, BE103 & WH902

Wednesday, December 14, 2016

Hello, lovelies! Here's a quick review/overview of Etude House's Look At My Eyes Eyeshadows in PK004, BE103 & WH902. I actually got these before I got the Melancholy Budapest Eyeshadows and made a review on them but I totally forgot to post this! Anyway, let's take a look~

 From left to right: PK004, BE103 & WH902

PK004 - A beautiful Burgundy with a pink undertone. This eyeshadow is very pigmented and has a satin finish. I had been looking for a eyeshadow like this for quite some time. I'm so picky when it comes to eyeshadow shades so I was so happy when I found this one since It has the exact shade and finish I was looking for. I really want to try a somewhat vampy eye makeup look and I think this will be perfect for it!

BE103 - A warm and glittering Gold. When applied it can be very opaque with a strong glittering (almost metallic) finish but it can also be blended out for a more sheer and fine glittering effect. The glitter is really sparkling and beautiful in real life but unfortunately my camera couldn't pick it up in the pictures in this post. However, I used this in my Afternoon Glam Eye Makeup Look so just click the link to see a more accurate representation of this eyeshadow. I already have a couple of similar glitter eyeshadows from Etude but this one is definitely my favourite since it's very pigmented and sparkling which is something I love in glitter shadows.

WH902 - A frosty silvery White. This eyeshadow is a bit on the sheer side. It has a fine glitter in it and even though it's sparkling the effect is quite subtle. It looks pretty as a base shadow but I think this eyeshadow looks best when applied in the inner corners of the eyes. I really want to use this for a winter/holiday makeup look!

Swatches from left to right: PK004, BE103 & WH902

Here are the swatches! The intensity and color of the eyeshadows looks very accurate to what they looks like in real life but like I mentioned my camera couldn't really pick up the sparkling glitter that BE103 and WH902 has. You can kind of see it at the bottom of the swatches tho. All of them are really beautiful but the one I've definitely used the most is the BE103. I use it almost every time I do my makeup since I like to add a little bit of glam to my everyday makeup.

[Review] Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Cream / 이니스프리 더 그린티 씨드 크림

Wednesday, December 7, 2016

Hello, dreamers! Today I'll be doing a review on the Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Cream. I have so many products from The Green Tea Line and I absolutely love all of them. I actually haven't used a cream in quite a while so I really needed a new one now that my skin is becoming dry during winter. If you've read my Skincare reviews before you will already know that I'm struggling with clogged pores and breakouts. I was thinking about getting the Innisfree Green the Balancing cream at first since it seemed like a good option for my combination/trouble skin, but when I told the staff at Innisfree about my problem and asked them which cream would suit me best they recommend this Green Tea Seed Cream. It's apparently good for trouble skin because it's moisturising and doesn't contain the type of oils that can usually clog pores. It's also very popular so I decided to go with this one. Let's take a closer look!

Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Cream

[Description] Enriched with fresh green tea seeds and squeezed green tea from the pure Jeju Island to deliver abundant moisture and nourishment deep into your skin. This antioxidant moisture cream is formulated with freshly squeezed jeju green tea and green tea seeds to create a clear and dewy skin from deep within.

[What it is]
1. Deep moisturizing cream infused with pesticide-free Jeju green tea and green tea seed oil that instantly provides intense hydration to replenish the skin with moisture and nutrition
Fresh green tea makes the dry skin moist, and green tea seed oil gives water-retention effects to trap hydration deep in the skin for highly-moisturizing and highly-nourishing care.

2. Freshly squeezed green tea - green tea energy that delivers deep moisture and nutrition
Freshly squeezed Jeju green tea rich in abundant minerals and amino acids makes the skin's texture watery.

3. Dual moisturizing with fresh green tea and green tea seed oil
Green tea seed oil provides deep moisture for dry skin, and forms a double moisture shield to retain intense hydration deep in the skin.

4. Green tea EGCG for a powerful antioxidant moisture effect
Highly antioxidant green tea EGCG with watery, soft cream-like texture forms a nourishing & hydrating shield for smooth, moist skin.

[How to use] Apply an appropriate amount onto thoroughly cleansed face and neck then gently smooth for better absorption.

[Ingredients] CAMELLIA SINENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, PROPANEDIOL, GLYCERIN, CYCLOHEXASILOXANE, PENTAERYTHRITYL TETRAETHYLHEXANOATE, BUTYLENE GLYCOL DICAPRYLATE/DICAPRATE, CAMELLIA SINENSIS SEED OIL, POLYMETHYLSILSESQUIOXANE, GLYCERYL POLYMETHACRYLATE, EPIGALLOCATECHIN GALLATE, OPUNTIA COCCINELLIF.ERA FRUIT EXTRACT, CITRUS UNSHIU PEEL EXTRACT, CAMELLIA JAPONICA LEAF EXTRACT, ORCHID EXTRACT, CITRUS AURANTIUM BERGAMIA (BERGAMOT) FRUIT EXTRACT, CITRUS PARADISI (GRAPEFRUIT) FRUIT EXTRACT, CITRUS AURANTIUM DULCIS (ORANGE) FRUIT EXTRACT, CITRUS TANGERINA (TANGERINE) EXTRACT, TOCOPHERSOLAN, POLOXAMER 338, POLOXAMER 235, ETHOXYDIGLYCOL, BIOSACCHARIDE GUM-1, HYDROXYETHYL ACRYLATE/SODIUM ACRYLOYLDIMETHYL TAURATE COPOLYMER, POLYSILICONE-11, POLYGLYCERYL-3 METHYLGLUCOSE DISTEARATE, GLYCERYL STEARATE, HYDROGENATED LECITHIN, CHOLESTEROL, CARBOMER, PEG-100 STEARATE, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, XANTHAN GUM, GLYCERYL CAPRYLATE, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, KAOLIN, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, WATER, TROMETHAMINE, DISODIUM EDTA, FRAGRANCE

Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Cream

This cream container has the original Innisfree look and it contains 50ml. I really like the minimalistic but somehow cute design of their products.

Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Cream

[My Experience] I think this is a really solid cream because it helps to keep my usually oily/combination skin moisturised during the dry winter without making it break out. I like to use this cream together with the Green Tea Serum every morning and night to keep my skin soft and moisturised throughout the day/night without making it oily. The cream has just the right consistency since it's neither too rich nor too light. It nourishes and moisturises my skin just enough, without being overwhelming. It absorbs relatively quickly and I can usually go right into my makeup routine after letting it absorb a little bit.

Green Tea Seed Cream Finger Close-Up   Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Cream

[Overall] I think this cream is excellent for pretty much all skin types because It's very balanced. It provides a decent amount of moisture and is also very refreshing and smoothing which is good for both oily and dry skin. I personally don't have sensitive or easily irritated skin, but many people who reviewed this product at Innisfree's page also said that it was great for their sensitive skin. However, I read one review by someone who has very dry and sensitive skin and tried this cream. He/she said that the cream apparently made his/her skin irritated and it seemed to be an allergic reaction. So if you do have extremely dry and/or sensitive skin like this person has, this cream might not work for you. It's simply case by case.

Thank you so much for reading. I hope this review was helpful! Bye for now~

Mediheal Secret Change Hair Bleach & Where to find Hair Bleach in Seoul

Thursday, December 1, 2016

Hello, lovelies! In this post, I will make a short review on the Mediheal Secret Change Hair Bleach but I will also babble about my mission to find Hair Bleach in Seoul, which was a lot harder than I thought it would be.

If you saw my review on the G&G Crystal Light Green lenses or the pictures on my Instagram you might have noticed that my hair is now orange. I had black hair before and decided that I want to go a lighter color again. The first step to this was obviously to bleach my hair.

I actually had a really hard time finding hair bleach here in Seoul. With so many makeup and beauty stores, you would imagine that you could find anything anywhere. Most Korean cosmetic and beauty stores actually have bleach, but I later found out that most of them won't work on already dyed hair, only on virgin hair or hair that hasn't been treated too many times like mine. Back in Sweden I always used to pick up the cheap bleach from H&M's own brand, but here in Korea H&M doesn't seem to have a beauty section.

So I went to Watsons which has many nice cosmetics and other beauty products and picked up the only bleach they had there. This bleach is called Clinic Color Hair Bleach by 꽃을 든 남자. It was a really big package for around ₩10,000. I later found out that It was one of those bleaches that only contain cream agents (like many, many other bleaches in the stores here) instead of bleaching powder which made me sceptical, but I decided to try it out anyway. To my horror, the black didn't disappear at all, only my roots turned to a kind of orange shade. I was really frustrated and ventured outside yet again to search for another hair bleach.

I went to Olive Young which is very similar to Watsons. I found this bleach called Mediheal Secret Change Hair Bleach and I was super happy about it because it is one of those bleaches with the bleaching powder that I know will work on my hair.

Important Tip: If you have dyed your hair a lot in the past and/or it is very damaged, make sure to try a bleach that contains bleaching powder if you plan on going from dark hair to light hair. Like I mentioned, I tried a lot of bleaches before and the bleach with the powder seems the be the only one that works.

The directions and information on the package itself are in both Korean and English which is great!

The packages are really small and don't contain a lot of product, but they are super cheap at only  ₩2,600. I picked up 3 of them just to be sure. They are super easy to use. You just mix the lotion and the powder in a bowl and apply the mixture to your hair with a brush. The only downside is that you have to provide the bowl and the brush yourself. I already had this at home but it might be a bummer for those who don't.

I mixed all of the 3 packages together at once and it was just enough to cover my short-ish hair, especially since I had already dyed my roots by accident. I left it in there for 30 minutes, rinsed it with lukewarm water, shampoo, and then conditioner. It didn't fry my hair (more than it already is) or turn it into a bubblegum-like texture, which can happen if you bleach/dye your hair too much. This was a big plus!

My hair was a black brown when I put in the bleach. This is the before and after.

I was surprised how my hair turned into an even and beautiful golden color. I actually wanted to dye it another color which is why I bleached it in the first place, but I like this color so I'm going to keep it like this for a while. I'm also going to get a haircut so I can remove all the dry and split ends and let my hair recover for a while.
Thank you so much for reading. I hope you enjoyed. Bye for now!

Afternoon Glam Eye Makeup Look

Tuesday, November 29, 2016

Hey, dreamers! So... I filmed a Makeup Tutorial for this look that I wanted to call 'Afternoon Glam' but it turns out that I had a really distracting eye goo in my eye during the entire video so I'm not going to upload it. It's kind of hilarious but frustrating at the same time. I thought that I'd at least share a picture of the finished look here. It was supposed to go in the thumbnail for the video. This is my simple everyday look with a bit of glam. Since I do this look almost every day, I will probably give it another shot soon.

[Review] ETUDE HOUSE Honey Cera Treatment Lip Oil & Honey Cera Skin Care 4 Kit (Toner, Emulsion, Eye Serum and Cream)

Monday, November 28, 2016

Hello, dreamers! I love lip care products but I haven't done a review on any lip care products or even gotten anything new worth mentioning since I did the review on the Etude House Kissable Lips Series. I got a bunch of things from Etude House the other day and decided to pick up this Honey Cera Treatment Lip Oil. I'm also going to include a review on the Honey Cera Skin Care 4 Kit, which I got for free when I got the Lip Oil.

 photo IMG_2753_zpsfe6umloq.jpg
The Honey Cera Line which claims to be firming, nourishing and give your skin elasticity targets dry skin and wrinkle care. The main ingredients in this line are honey and Ceramide which the name already gives away.

 photo IMG_2756_zps3ym03aem.jpg

 photo IMG_2763_zpsennq0xtz.jpg

First of all I want to say that I've known about the Honey Cera Line for a while but I'd never thought about getting anything from that line since it targets dry skin and wrinkle care so I didn't think it would go well with my acne-prone combination skin type. However, I checked it out and I'm glad I did. It didn't even cross my mind that they had lip care and other products that would suit me too.

 photo IMG_2721_zpswkvku828.jpg
Honey Cera Treatment Lip Oil
[Description] This hydrating lip oil is enriched with superior lip conditioners to heal cracked and chapped lips.

[Ingredients] Polybutene, Diisostearyl Malate, Polyglyceryl-2 Triisostearate, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Bixa Orellana Seed Oil, Honey Extract, Royal Jelly Extract, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Ceramide Np, Alkanna Tinctoria Root Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate, Tocopherol, Water, Butylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Fragrance

[Texture & Scent] The consistency is just perfect. It's not too oily and not too sticky, and it applies very smoothly onto my lips. It just feels amazing on my lips. The scent is really sweet and pleasant. It's kind of similar to real liquid honey in both scent and texture.

 photo IMG_2744_zps4khxhpwe.jpg       photo IMG_2726_zpsndlepcfd.jpg
Left: I could look at this all day. It does look like real honey, right?, Right: The applicator is super soft which also contributes to a smooth and pleasant application.

[Combining] Other than making my lips soft, another thing I like a lot about this Lip Oil is that I can use it with lip tint. I usually stick with a tinted lip balm since I like how it gives my lips a naturally red and glossy look but after getting this Lip Oil I really love to use it right before or after applying lip tint instead, especially since lip tint can tend to make my lips dry. This combo gives my lips a super moisturized, glossy, and vibrant look which I really love.

 photo IMG_2887_zpst2brwnxs.jpg       photo IMG_2890_zps45ywaqac.jpg
Left: Treatment Lip Oil Only, Right: Treatment Lip Oil with Color in Liquid Lips Juicy #26 RD304. This lip tint in particular is already moisturizing by itself, so it really adds to the juicy effect it has. Click here to see the review!

[Opinion/Results] I usually use this in the last step of my skincare routine, morning and night. I actually don't even get dry or chapped lips a lot, I just like to take care of my lips, but when I do get slightly dry lips applying this really helps. It makes my lips feel super soft whenever I use it, no matter if my lips are dry or not. It also stays on and keeps my lips moisturized for a really long time after just one application. Even if you're not going to use the Lip Oil and a lip tint together, the Lip Oil is a great product for those of you who frequently get dry lips because of lip tint or other lip products (like me). Even though I normally don't have dry lips, I can really feel how this product deeply moisturizes and cares for my lips, so I will dare to say that I'm pretty sure that this product will be great for those of you out there who have dry lips in general.

[Repurchase?] Definitely! I actually like this a lot more than the Etude House Kissable Lip Essence or any other lip treatment that I've tried so far. It's pretty price worthy too at only ₩9,000 (or $11.10). I want to get the Honey Cera Repair Lip balm to go with it too since it seems to be a good alternative for 'on the go'.

Honey Cera Skin Care 4 Kit (Toner, Emulsion, Eye Serum and Cream)
 photo IMG_2856 copy_zpsihpqjgro.jpg
I just need to mention that I'm focusing my skin care on controlling my breakouts right now so I'm not going to try these products for a long period of time. I just tried them out a couple of times so I'm just going to give you my first impressions and thoughts of them.

Toner
[Description] Highly nutritive multi-Toner that moistens rough and dry skin without any stickiness.

[Ingredients] Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Triethylhexanoin, Honey Extract, Ceramide 3, Royal Jelly, Helichrysum Italicum Extract, Tremella Fuciformis (Mushroom) Extract, Hyaluronic Acid, Glyceryl Stearate, Glyceryl Caprylate, Dimethicone, Cetearyl Alcohol, Squalane, Stearic Acid, Adenosine, Acrylates/Stearyl Methacrylate Copolymer, Ethylhexylglycerin, Alcohol, Xanthan Gum, Palmitic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Peg-20 Glyceryl Isostearate, Peg- 60 Glyceryl Isostearate, Carbomer, Potassium Hydroxide, Disodium Edta, Fragrance, Yellow 5 (Ci 19140), Yellow 6 (Ci 15985)

[Thoughts] This might sound stupid but I was surprised by the color of this toner. All toners I've ever used/tried were clear so I was surprised that this one was white. Other than that it's just a normal toner, but it's slightly thicker (but not sticky) than most toners I've tried (like the Wonder Pore and AC Toner, for example).

Emulsion
[Description] A nourishing and firming Emulsion that provides rich nutrition and strengthens the skin’s oil-moisture balance.

[Ingredients] Water, Butylene Glycol, Hydrogenated Poly(C6-14 Olefin), Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Glycerin, Dimethicone, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, C14-22 Alcohols, Honey Extract, Ceramide 3, Royal Jelly, Helichrysum Italicum Extract, Tremella Fuciformis (Mushroom) Extract, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, C12-20 Alkyl Glucoside, Glyceryl Stearate, Glyceryl Stearate Citrate, Glyceryl Caprylate, Dextrin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Sodium Polyacrylate, Stearic Acid, Adenosine, Acrylates/Stearyl Methacrylate Copolymer, Ethylhexylglycerin, Alcohol, Xanthan Gum, Carbomer, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Extract, Tromethamine, Palmitic Acid, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Hyaluronic Acid, Disodium Edta, Fragrance, Yellow 5 (Ci 19140), Yellow 6 (Ci 15985)

[Thoughts] This emulsion is quite thick and sticky (I had a hard time getting it out of the bottle, haha). I've actually only tried one emulsion before so, unfortunately, I don't have much to compare with.

 photo IMG_2860_zpsxfzi64il.jpg       photo IMG_2863_zpswc1rj2fd.jpg
Left: Toner, Right: Emulsion

Eye Serum
[Description] A priming Eye Serum that enhances dark circles under the eyes with its whitening function for a smooth and brightened eye area.

[Ingredients] Water, Butylene Glycol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Glycerin, Niacinamide, Cyclohexasiloxane, Honey Extract, Ceramide 3, Royal Jelly, Helichrysum Italicum Extract, Hyaluronic Acid, Tremella Fuciformis (Mushroom) Extract, Adenosine, Glyceryl Stearate, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Stearic Acid, Silica, Acrylates/Stearyl Methacrylate Copolymer, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/Vp Copolymer, Ethylhexylglycerin, Xanthan Gum, Polyglyceryl- 3 Methylglucose Distearate, Polysilicone-11, Peg-100 Stearate, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Alcohol, Disodium Edta, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance

[Thoughts] This is probably the only product out of this kit that I will actually use until it's empty and after seeing the 'real' serum with the applicator I really want to buy it. I don't have any good eye care products right now so I will try this sample a bit longer and see if I'll actually get the real thing along with the other eye care products in this line. So far I really like it. It looks a bit heavy at first glance but it's actually very light-weight and cooling once I start applying it. It spreads like a dream and It absorbs into the skin very quickly.

Cream
[Description] A nourishing and firming Cream that provides dry skin with abundant nutrition and radiance.

[Ingredients] Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Pentaerythrityl Tetraethylhexanoate, Dimethicone, Jojoba Esters, Diisostearyl Malate, Trehalose, Phytosteryl/Behenyl/Octyldodecyl Lauroyl Glutamate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate, Honey Extract, Ceramide 3, Royal Jelly, Helichrysum Italicum Extract, Hyaluronic Acid, Tremella Fuciformis (Mushroom) Extract, Palmitic Acid, Adenosine, Stearic Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Alcohol, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Extract, Xanthan Gum, Polyisobutene, Peg-100 Stearate, Peg-40 Stearate, Acrylates/Stearyl Methacrylate Copolymer, Polyacrylate-13, Dextrin, Polysorbate 20, Disodium Edta, Phenoxyethanol, Yellow 5 (Ci 19140), Yellow 6 (Ci 15985), Fragrance

[Thoughts] This cream is very thick and rich. I only applied it to my hands and neck, because I'm too worried that it may cause my face to breakout, and it made my skin super soft so I can definitely see how it will fit those with dry and/or mature skin.

Left: Eye Serum, Right: Cream

[Scent] One thing that I love about these products is that all of them smell absolutely amazing. It's hard to describe but I would say that it smells like a mix of honey, flowers and maybe... cinnamon? It's not an overwhelming scent and for some reason it's actually very soothing to me. Out of all the skin care products I've tried from Etude, this line has the best scent in my opinion.

[Overall] All of these products seem amazing. One more thing they all have in common is that every product is a lot richer compared to their equivalents, so they are definitely best suitable for dry skin, wrinkle-care and even normal skin types. Not so much for oily and acne-prone skin. It's too bad that I won't be able to use the skin care products that much but I will definitely take a closer look at the eye care products and hopefully get to make a review on them in the future.
Thank you so much for reading. I hope you enjoyed. Bye for now!

[Review] Etude House Berry Delicious Color In Liquid Lips Juicy #26 RD304 & #32 PP502

Hello, lovelies! I have one of the colors from the original Color in Liquid Lips line but haven't done a review on it yet since I'm actually not sure if I like it or not. Anyhow, I really wanted a new lip tint so I decided to give a couple of shades from the Color In Liquid Lips Juicy line a try because I love moisturizing and "juicy" lip tints. I went with #26 RD304 and #32 PP502. I also would've gotten the #31 GR701 if I'd known that it actually turns out pink. I really love pinks with cool undertones so I will definitely get it the next time I go to Etude. Anyway, let's take a look!

[Description] The moisturizing strawberry moisture softly melts on the lips, with the sweet and sour color expressing juicy, wet lips.

 photo IMG_2820_zpslkpsouwn.jpg
First of all can we just talk about how cute these are? I love how the colored tube itself is made to look like a strawberry with the little seeds.

The applicators are quite stiff but 'fluffy' (if that makes sense) which makes the application smooth and pleasant but also precise.

[Texture] The formula is watery and lightweight. It manages to give your lips a nice juicy look without feeling thick or sticky.

[Scent] The scent is absolutely amazing. It's pleasantly sweet, like a mix of berries and bubblegum. Both of the colors I got smell the same to me, but I thought it would've been a fun touch if the different colors had different scents.

[Color] The color is a little bit sheer at first but can be built up to be very opaque. Since the formula is so watery it makes them easy to blend and allows you to create various different looks. You can apply just a small amount to add a natural tint to your lips, add more to the middle to create a gradient effect or just build it up to create a full-looking and vibrant lip.

In the pictures above, I first added a small amount of tint all over my lips. Then added another layer in the center to create a full-looking lip with a gradient effect. This is my absolute favorite lip look.

[Repurchase?] Yes! Like I said before, I really love the "juicy lips" look. I kind of want to get this in all shades now. Especially the green and orange ones.
