Design
These lenses have a subtle and very natural looking pattern. The inner edges are very soft, so even though you can clearly see the difference between the color of the lens and my natural iris, it still blends in very well. The design is very pretty and they're perfect if you want a natural look, but they're a bit too plain for my taste.

Color
A dark, very natural-looking chocolate brown color, which I absolutely love when it comes to brown lenses. I would usually say that you can wear any color on your lenses despite your natural eye color, but since these don't cover that much of your natural iris and because of the dark color, these lenses will probably look best on those with brown/black eyes.

Enlargement
The enlargement isn't very outstanding. I've used lenses with the same diameter that give me a much greater enlarging effect. These lenses will definitely work for you if you're looking for a subtle but noticeable enlargement. I just personally prefer the biggest enlarging effect possible.

Comfort
Very comfortable!

Overall
These lenses are very pretty overall and even though I have other favorites I will probably use them if I want a natural but still dolly look. I think they are more suitable for those who have naturally brown eyes and are looking for dolly-looking eyes with a subtle enlargement.

However, If you're looking for circle lenses similar to these but with an amazing enlarging effect and 1 Year life spend, I recommend you to check out the GEO Grang Grang Big Choco Lenses.

Wardrobe Update - If it's not black put it back on the rack

Hello lovelies! Sweden is getting colder which means that it's time for a drastic wardrobe update. Autumn is probably my favorite fashion season, and this year I've seen an especially wide range of nice trends around the world. Two of my favorite key items this season are hats and maxi cardigans. I first noticed the Wool Hat trend when I was in Seoul; A lot of people, both guys and girls, were wearing them and I just had to get one too. However, I couldn't find a nice one neither in Seoul nor Online. But luckily for me, Swedish stores caught up with the trend and I finally laid my hands on this lovely Wool Hat from H&M.

Maxi Cardigans (or "Kimonos" like many online stores like to call them for whatever reason) are also really popular this season and I absolutely love them! Even though I can't recall seeing anyone wearing one of these in the streets, I have seen them in literally every single clothing store I've visited recently - both physical and online stores. I couldn't choose only one amongst the huge selection of Maxi Cardigans, so I simply got three of them from Nelly.com - All in black, of course.

Now, shades of grey are the trendy ones on the Greyscale this Autumn/Winter, but I've always been a big fan black. Especially this time of the year, like a lot of people do, I like to turn to darker colors when it comes to fashion; Which brings us back to the title of this post and my new motto for every coming Autumn Season ever - If it's not black put it back on the rack.

Using Coconut Oil before bleaching your hair to prevent damage.

Friday, August 22, 2014

Yellow tones and brazziness has been my worst hair enemy ever since I started dyeing my hair. Whenever I bleach my hair or just touch up my roots I usually have to bleach it one more time to completely get rid of orange/yellow tones and brazziness. And obviously, bleach damages your hair a lot. Hair isn't exactly an area that I'm very confident in, and since I'm in the middle of the process of dyeing my hair Silver/grey, I was looking for the best methods to achieve the color I want, as well as how to protect my hair from damage. I found out about a lot great methods, different dyes and tips. But one thing that I really had to try was to apply Coconut Oil to my hair before bleaching it.

I first heard about using Coconut Oil in your hair when I was watching videos on how to get grey/silver hair. I found this video where some guy was talking about silver hair and how to prevent damage to your hair when bleaching it by using coconut oil. Coconut oil is supposed to protect your hair from 80% of the damage caused by bleaching your hair, but at the same time help to to speed up the process. This method made sense to me and I decided to trust what people were saying.

After a failed attempt to bleach my hair once and get rid of yellow tones, my hair looked absolutely ridiculous. The ends of my hair were either blonde/yellow or completely blue/purple, while the roots still were dark blonde/orange (See the picture on the right). I just needed to get rid of this ASAP. I got a jar of pure Coconut Oil from a grocery store and picked up a bleach (L'oreal Paris Extreme Platinum). I didn't wash my hair and applied the Coconut Oil straight to my dry hair, completely saturating it. I prepared the bleach and started working through my hair, applying it directly on my Coconut Oil-drenched hair. The first thing I noticed was that the application was so much smoother and easier than usual. My hair didn't dry up at all which it usually does when I bleach it ,which causes the my hair to be very incooperative when I'm trying to section my hair.

I've tried many several bleaches before, and I all think that the speed of the lightening progress is the same. But with the Coconut Oil it appeared to get lighter much faster than usual.

Also, my scalp can get pretty sensitive if I have dyed my hair too much which causes it to burn as hell when I bleach it. When using the Coconut Oil, my scalp didn't hurt at all. I only felt a very subtle burn a tiny bit itchy, but it was really nothing compared to the pain I usually go through.

To cancel out unwanted yellow tones, I used the Björn Axén Cool Silver Shampoo after I rinsed the bleach. I applied it all over my hair like a toner, lathered it up and rinsed after 30 minutes, followed by applying the Björn Axén Cool Silver Conditioner which I let sit for about an hour.

After washing everything out, the first thing I noticed was that my hair was extremely smooth and soft, and it really was the lightest platinum blonde you can imagine. The only thing that disappointed me in this process was that the Silver shampoo and conditioner didn't work as well as I expected. It did turn the ends of my hair white/silver, but my roots where still platinum blonde. However, the main subject in this post is whether Coconut Oil is a good solution to prevent damage to your hair or not, and...

My conclusion is that using Coconut Oil in your hair before bleaching it is absolutely amazing!

I highly recommend using this Coconut Oil method to anyone who bleaches their hair at home. It works wonders! Although, I wouldn't recommend using this when dying your hair with a normal hair dye/toner since I don't think it will give you the same effect. If you want to try it, do some research first. Like I said, this is also the first step in getting Grey hair. Since I'm trying to wait as long as possible between the difference steps of bleaching, toning and dyeing, I will probably make separate posts for each of them.

Anyway, I really hope that this post was useful to some of you or that you at least enjoyed reading it. Please let me know if you decided to try this (or have been using this method previously) and how it worked for you!
Take care and Bye for now, lovelies!

Princess Melody Candy Unicorn

Princess Melody is out with a new dress pattern. I have to say that that every new collection they  launch looks prettier than the previous ones. The concepts and patterns also seem to get more and more inspired by Lolita. This particular one reminds me a lot of Angelic Pretty.

The pink dress in the picture above is, in my opinion, the prettiest one they have made so far. My personal style doesn't include Hime at all anymore, but I still love to check out the latest collections when it comes to Princess Melody since I used to like it a lot. Which Princess Melody dress is your favorite?

Alien by Thierry Mugler EdP & Boudoir by Vivienne Westwood EdP

Sunday, August 3, 2014

Hello, lovelies! As you might know I love perfumes and I always keep looking for new favorites. I've owned countless of perfumes and even though I liked most of them I hadn't really found one that I absolutely loved. However, that has finally changed! In this post I'd like to tell you about the two most recent perfumes I got.

Alien by Thierry Mugler -  "The perfume bottle holding this elixir is reminiscent of a sacred stone. Jewel-like, its facets express the radiance of the mysterious Thierry Mugler fragrance.
Notes: Sambac jasmine, Cashmeran wood, amber gris"

This has become my favorite perfume of all time. It's the only one I use right now since I don't think that any of my other perfumes smell as good on me as this one. I absolutely love it! This is the small 30ml bottle, but I'm definitely going to get the bigger 60ml, or even the 100ml one when I finished this one. I used this every day when I was in Seoul and I got so many compliments because of it, unlike when I've worn any other perfume I've ever used.

To me, one of the things that attract me the most to another person is a nice scent/perfume. That's why I always wanted to find a signature perfume for myself that both would get noticed by other and one that I personally like a lot. I'm so happy that I finally found the right perfume for me.

Boudoir by Vivienne Westwood - "Vivienne Westwood's first fragrance, Boudoir was launched in 1998. The heart of the fragrance has accords of red English roses that produce an extremely feminine floral note. transporting you to a traditional English Country Garden with evening scents of tobacco flowers and heliotrope. With top accord vibernum combined with notes of bergamot and mandarine."

I actually got this quite a while ago, but I haven't really been using it that much. I fell in love with it when a friend of mine was wearing it and I just had to get one for myself. However,  perfumes adjust to your natural scent, so a perfume that smells amazing on your friend might not end up smelling as good on you - Which, unfortunately, was the problem in my case. I still want to keep it since I love the bottle and I like to smell it from time to time, haha.

Which is your favorite/signature perfume?

KOKOkim Heart Wristband ハートリストバンド

Friday, August 1, 2014

Hello, lovelies! 2 months have already passed since I turned 21. I got this cute KOKOkim Heart Wristband as a birthday gift from my lovely girls, Nea and Victoria. I was very touched since I didn't expect any gifts , and also because KOKOkim is one of my favorite brands.

Even the bag and packaging is so cute!

They got it straight from the store in Shibuya 109 during their trip to Tokyo, and they gave it to me the day before I went to Seoul. So for me, it's a very special gift. It's nice to know that there are people who care about you, no matter how far apart.

Have you ever received a gift that means a lot to you? Tell me about it in the comments!
Bye for now, lovelies~
