Mini Bedroom Tour

Thursday, August 25, 2016

Hello! I've only lived in my new apartment for a few months, but it's already time for me to move to another place soon since all of the apartments in my area are being demolished in a couple of months. I'm excited about what's going to happen next but we put so much time and effort into this apartment which makes me kind of sad at the same time. Anyway, all of this is for another post. This time, I'm doing something I've wanted to do for a long time but I always kept postponing it, but since I suddenly found out that I have to move a lot sooner than I expected I finally got myself to do it - A Room Tour!

I originally wanted to make a tour of my whole apartment which is pretty big with 3 bedrooms, an open kitchen/living room, bathroom, wash room and 2 balconies. However, it's really empty so there's not much more to see other than my room, haha. So since I only made a mini tour of my bedroom I decided to make a Video in addition to the pictures in this post. Let's go!

My bed and Cookies bed (although he doesn't know the difference)!

This is my favourite part of my room. This is where I choose my outfits and put on my makeup. In other words, this is where the magic happens.

A closer shot of my hanger and my clothes. I've always preferred to use a hanger for my clothes since love to keep my clothes where I can see them.

This is where I keep all of my Skincare, Makeup and other beauty products. I originally wanted a desk where I could sit and use my laptop keep all of this but keeping it like this works perfectly fine and I already got used to use my laptop at my kitchen table.

And now, the video!

I hope you enjoyed my little Bedroom Tour! Feel free to let me know what you think in the comments and if you would like me to add more videos like this to my posts. Thank you so much for reading and watching.
Bye for now, lovelies~

Innisfree Bija Trouble Cleansing Gel & Bija Trouble Facial Foam

Sunday, August 21, 2016

Hello, lovelies! (This is my 600th post! Yay!) I'm a big fan of double cleansing with oil and foam. I previously used the Innisfree Green Tea cleansing Oil which I absolutely loved but since I recently ran out of it I decided to try something new since my skin has been breaking out recently. I'm pretty sure my previously used cleansing oil doesn't have anything to do with it, but I decided to try out The bijou Trouble Cleansing Gel and Cleansing foam which targets so called 'trouble' skin aka acne, impurities etc.

bija trouble cleansing gel
First we have the bijou trouble cleansing gel. I've actually never tried a cleansing gel before so I was pretty curious about this product. It comes in a standard bottle with a pump and contains 150ml of product.

The description and directions are all written on the back of the bottle, including the complete list of ingredients for those of you who want to know exactly what it contains. Amongst others, it contains natural ingredients such as salicylic acid, panduratin and rose crystal that helps to relieve skin trouble.

This is currently the very first product I use in my daily skin care routine, followed by the facial foam. The gel is quite thick which makes it a bit hard to apply unless you use a lot. I usually have to dispense about 2-3 pumps for a smooth application.

It thoroughly removes all makeup including eye makeup and it leaves my skin super clean and fresh.

However, I don't recommend using it for removing eye makeup since it does sting a bit if it gets into your eyes and it's probably not suited for the sensitive skin around your eyes since it targets impurities and such.

It also has a slight cooling effect which is really refreshing.

Next we have the Bija trouble facial foam. This one comes in a simple tube which also contains 150ml of product.

Here are the directions of use and ingredients. It contains naturally derived ingredients like salicylic acid to remove dead skin cells, is enriched with torrey a seed oil from Jeju Island for a powerful healing effect and is also loaded with nutmeg to improve skin quality. It's also free from parabens, synthetic colorants and artificial fragrances.

The foam is quite thick as well but incredibly smooth and pleasant to apply. You only need to use a teeny tiny bit of product to achieve a smooth and refined lather. This foam has an even stronger cooling effect, but it's not overwhelming. This one I would also not recommend to use to remove eye makeup since it can sting if it gets into your eyes!

Verdict
I absolutely love these cleansing products, especially the foam. It leaves my skin clear, smooth and healthy looking! Products like these can tend to make skin feel dry, but it doesn't make my skin feel dry at all, only fresh and moisturised. They have a pretty nice and refreshing scent as well. I don't know exactly how to explain it but I would say that it smells a little bit like mint and medicine (haha?).

Both of these products claim to control blemishes and relieve skin trouble. I haven't really noticed a big difference in my skin yet, but It has helped a lot with red spots and the likes but my clogged pores are still pretty bad. I don't really expect my clogged pores to get much better from using these but I'll wait and see if these cleansing products can actually make a difference in that department.

In any case, I'm really happy with these products and I can't wait to try out the rest of the products from this line!

What are you favourite cleansing products? Let me know in the comments!
Thank you for reading and bye for now~

Puppyhood and Pet Café

Wednesday, August 3, 2016

Hello, lovelies! First of all, It's been a looong time since I last made a post... Sorry about that! This is because of several reasons; one of them being that taking care of a puppy consumes a lot of time. Anyhow, I finally have the opportunity to give you a little update about what me and Cookie have been up to.

Cookie is growing up really fast (he's about 7 months old now) and he's learned and experienced a lot so far. He's met a lot of people and he really likes people in general, however, he hasn't really had the opportunity to meet a lot of dogs yet. The area I live in is family friendly and I live close to a park so I always see at least 2 dogs and their owners whenever I take Cookie for a walk. However, he's always scared to approach other dogs by himself and I'm usually too shy to ask the owners if we can try to let them play together haha... So my boyfriend told me about a Pet/dog café close by where we live so we there together with Cookie to try to make some friends for him.

Before I talk about the Pet Café here are some of my favorite pictures of Cookie so you can see how he has grown and changed since I got him. Check out my previous post to see what Cookie looked like when we picked him up (He was so so fluffy! ㅠㅠ)

There are tons of Pet cafés everywhere in Seoul but since there's one really close to where I live I simply just went there. The layout of the place is really simple but the atmosphere is nice. It's an open space with a small counter where you have to order your drink (The beverages are on the pricier side but there are no other fees) and the seating areas are all up against the wall. Some people come there to bring their dogs so they can play with the dogs in the café whilst some people just come there to play with the dogs that are already there. In the pictures below are a couple out of the many other cute doggies who live at that Café!

Unfortunately I don't have any pics of the Café itself, but I will definitely visit many more times and take more pics for you!

Pet cafés aren't really a thing in Sweden (I'm pretty sure I've only seen 1 'Pet Café' in Sweden in my entire life) so it's really nice to have so many here in Seoul and even one that is so close to where I live. Are there pet cafés or other places for pets and their owners to hang out where you live? Let me know in the comments!
Thanks for reading and bye for now lovelies~
