Hello, dreamers! As you know, I really like cute things and characters; Korilakkuma has been my one and only favourite character for a really long time, but these days I really like Ebichu too. For those of you who don't know, Ebichu is a character from a Japanese manga (Orochuban Ebichu) which later became an Anime. It's a lesser known character compared to other popular characters; I guess it has to do with the 'adult' theme of the manga and anime itself. Surprisingly, Ebichu is actually really popular here in South Korea! Ebichu is all over Facebook, there are lots of themes and Ebichu related things for Android phones, and there are special Ebichu events in malls and even Clubs(?!) from time to time. I also found out that there is an Ebichu Store here in Seoul so I was really excited and just had to go there as soon as possible.
The Ebichu Store in Seoul is located at the Lotte World Mall in Jamsil. The Mall is huge so it's a bit tricky to find, but there are lots of maps and information desks around, so it's not hard to find if you ask about it. Anyway, me and my boyfriend had our 2nd anniversary the other day. He knows that I really like Ebichu and he knew that I was dying to go the the store, so since both the Ebichu store and one of our favourite restaurants is at the Lotte World Mall, we decided to go on a date at the mall for our Anniversary. Anyway, here are some pictures I took at the Ebichu Store!
The store is located in a section where there have a lot of character and theme stores. The Ebichu store is the first store on the right when you enter that section. The front of the store is completely open so it's impossible to miss.
These huge Ebichu figures are positioned at each side of the store. So cute~
Right next to the big Ebichu figure with the blue umbrella, there's even a small café where they sell sweets which all look like Ebichu! There are also so many cute and decorative times in and around the store.
The store is quite small, but de
spite the size, they actually have so much merchandise in there. They have plushies, pillows, phone cases, stationary, kitchen ware (which is the only thing I didn't take a picture of), and lots of other goodies! I honestly just wanted to get everything, but I settled with just a few things for now.
We ended up getting a Ebichu pillow, a plushie, a coin case and a set of small cups.
Anyway, after we were done at the Ebichu Store, we went and had dinner at a really nice sushi restaurant, which is one of our favourite places. I had a really great day!
If you head over to
my instagram, you can see a picture of the pillow and the plushie I got, lying on my bed; I didn't take a picture of the other things I got yet. They actually recently started selling a really cute Ebichu plushie dressed in a bunny costume which I really wanna get, so I'll definitely go back there soon and show you all of the Ebichu stuff I have. You can head over to the Ebichu
online store to see all of the merchandise they're selling.
Thank you so much for reading. Bye for now, lovelies! ♡
