Design

The design is really pretty! I kinda feel that the design and color falls into the same category here since the 3 tone color of the lens is the biggest element in this design. The positive part about the design itself is the subtly spiked and speckled pattern which makes the lens look more natural.

Color

The color is amazing! The base color is a really pretty and vivid violet which isn't too blue nor too pink. Simply a perfect shade! The inner part is a pretty hazel color which blends perfectly with my natural eye color. And at last the limbal ring is a darker violet. I really like it when the limbal ring is a darker shade of the main color which makes it look more natural rather than if it would've been pitch black.

Enlargement

Being a 16.2 (claiming to give you 17mm effect), this lens obviously gives you a great enlarging effect, but I honestly don't think that it's that extraordinary. I actually expected them to look even bigger, but still, they have a great enlarging effect!

Comfort

The only downside with these lenses is that they're not that comfortable, especially compared to other lenses.

Overall

Although the color is very vivid and obviously makes it look like you're wearing contacts, the design still makes them look relatively natural since it blends in well with the natural eye color.

I've had a thing for violet circle lenses since I've been obsessed with everything violet/lavender in general. I got really curious about these after seeing some reviews, so I bought them for my reward points at UNIQSO (which means that they're not sponsored). I've tried many violet lenses before but these are definitely my favorite pair so far! I have to say that they definitely lived up to my expectations.

I don't think I'll wear these much in everyday life, but they're definitely perfect for portrait pictures and special occasions.

Simple Lavender & Pink Nails

Wednesday, May 21, 2014

    Hello, lovelies!

It's been so long since I last did my nails. I love making my nails pretty, but having long nails with lots of deco are very inconvenient as a makeup artist. However, I've been free from work for a while now, so I thought that it was about time to bling them up!

What do you think?

I originally wanted to keep them much more simple, but I kinda overdid it with the glitter. I also need to improve my technique when it comes to gel nails since they don't last very long. Practice makes perfect!

Nail Polish Colors used:
FACE Stockholm "Nail Polish #52"
Essie "Lilacism"
OPI "Planks A Lot"
China Glaze "Carnival"

Cute Pastel Sneakers

Monday, May 19, 2014

Hello, lovelies!

I love "Online Window Shopping" and I happened to find these super cute sneakers on eBay. They come in 5 different colors and styles.

I really want to get a pair but it's hard to choose since all of them are really cute. Maybe I should just get all of them  Although, right now I'm considering to get either the Purple/Pink ones with Ponies or the Blue/Pink ones with the Little Twin Stars characters.

Which ones do you like the best?

KOKOkim 2014 Spring & Summer Look Book

Sunday, May 18, 2014

KOKOkim has become one of my favorite clothing brands and has been a huge inspiration for my personal style. The following pictures are from the Look Book for their 2014 Spring & Summer Collection.

It's hard to choose a favorite outfit since all of them are so cute!

I really like that their clothes can be both cute and cool while still being true to the concept. The color variations are simply amazing since many of their items come in both black mixed with pastel colors and pastel colors only.

It's amazing how well they managed to match the real life pictures with the illustrations.

KOKOkim launched their first store in Shibuya 109 a while ago, and I was happy to see that they also opened an online store very recently. And luckily for customers outside of Japan, many of their items are also available at Yesstyle.com!
