[Review] Innisfree Super Volcanic Clay Mousse Mask

Wednesday, November 23, 2016

Hello, lovelies! I'm back with a review on the Innisfree Super Volcanic Clay Mousse Mask. I absolutely love the Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask and instantly got this one when it came out.

[Description]
The mask with micro clay mousse containing Super volcanic cluster to fill in the pore and fine lines to completely remove excess sebum and micro dust.

[Directions] Pump an appropriate amount and smooth over towel-dried skin after cleansing, avoiding the eye and lip areas. When the mask dries after 10-15 minutes, wash off with lukewarm water (use 1-2 times a week.

- Press the pump with care at first so you do not dispense the mousse too much.
- Always close the button cap and lid after use.

[
Ingredients] WATER, KAOLIN, TITANIUM DIOXIDE (CI 77891), VOLCANIC ASH, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, SILICA, ALCOHOL, POLYVINYL ALCOHOL, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, STEARIC ACID, CELLULOSE, PALMITIC ACID, BENTONITE, CYCLOHEXASILOXANE, SALIX ALBA (WILLOW), BARK EXTRACT, LACTIC ACID, JUGLANS REGIA (WALNUT), SHELL POWDER,  CITRUS UNSHIU PEEL EXTRACT, ORCHID EXTRACT, CAMELLIA SINENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, CAMELLIA JAPONICA EXTRACT LEAF EXTRACT, OPUNTIA COCCINELLIFERA FRUIT EXTRACT, MICROCRYSTALLINE CELLULOSE, MANNITOL, CETARYL ALCOHOL, SORBITAN STEARATE, ARGININE, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, ZEA MAYS (CORN), STARCH, XANTHAN GUM, IRON OXIDES (CI 77499), DISODIUM EDTA, PHENOXYETHANOL, NITROGEN

The mousse is very creamy and light-weight, It applies very smoothly and you only need a little bit to cover your face completely. These are two of the things that I really like about this mask, especially compared to the Original Clay mask which is quite thick which makes it hard to apply and you need a lot of product to cover the face completely.

The mask dries quite quickly, after only 10 minutes or so, and once it has dried completely my face feels really tight, and I can literally see the sebum coming out from my pores. When I wash it off my face does sometimes feel a little bit dry but also really smooth and clear. My pores get noticeably cleaner and all excess sebum removed. It does exactly what it promises to do. However, if you have dry or sensitive skin this might not be the best product for you. Despite your skin type, If you decide to give this a try, make sure to moisturize your skin thoroughly after use.

Other than the slight risk of that it might make your face dry, the only downside about this mask is that it can easily get very messy unless you are careful. The first time I used it I managed to get this stuff everywhere!

Repurchase? Yes! Like I mentioned, I really loved the Original Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask but I do like this one slightly better since it basically does the exact same thing but is a lot easier to apply and wash off. The slight dryness that occurs afterwards is not really a big problem to me since I have naturally oily skin and I also always use a lot of moisturizers in my skin care routine. It's also price-worthy at only 19,000₩ for a lot of product. Overall, I really love this Mousse Mask! It's currently my favorite mask.

Thank you so much for reading. I hope you enjoyed. Bye for now.

How to make a Syntethic wig look natural

Monday, November 21, 2016

Hello, dreamers! In this post I want to show you how to make any Synthetic wig look natural and also make it super soft and smell really nice. Basically, to make a Synthetic wig look more natural we want to remove the extreme shine that synthetic wigs have.

What you need:
Syntethic wig
A bowl
Fabric Softener
Baby Powder

Optional:
Wig stand

1. Take your wig and dump it into your bowl. The size or the material of the bowl doesn't matter as long as it's big enough for your wig and the fabric softener liquid.

2. Pour the Fabric Softener into the bowl with your wig. It doesn't have to cover the wig completely, but be sure to put enough fabric softener in there so that it saturates the wig more than enough. I like to give it a little stir at this point too. Leave it in there for 5 days. Yes, you read that right. For maximum results you should leave it in the bowl with the fabric softener for about 5 days. But if you're in a rush, 2 days should be enough.
3. When 5 days have passed, remove the wig from the bowl and wash it thoroughly with water and let it dry. Put it on the wig stand and let it air dry it or just use a hair dryer. Give it a good brush once it's dry. You will notice that most of the shine will have disappeared and that it's super soft and smells nice.

   4. When everything is dry, apply the baby powder on every section of hair. This will take some time but you want to make sure to cover every single hair and really get it in there. Add some more on the spots where you still can see shine. This will really remove the unwanted shininess and make it look almost like real hair.

5. And done! Just give it a good brush and style as desired. Your wig should be a lot softer and flowy with a more matte and natural texture.

Here are some selfies I took with the wig once I was done with it. I'm really happy with how it turned out! Let me know what you think in the comments.
Thanks for reading and bye for now!

[Review] Etude House Look At My Eyes (1608) Melancholy Budapest Eyeshadow / 에뛰드 룩 앳 마이 아이즈 멜랑꼴리 부다페스트

Saturday, November 19, 2016

Hello, dreamers! Although I love Etude I haven't bought any eyeshadows from them in quite a while since they simply didn't have anything new that caught my interest - until now. I was so happy to see that they have a brand new line of eyeshadows. The new line is called Melancholy Budapest and they are also part of Look At My Eyes (1608), Look At My Eyes Jewel (1608) and Look At My Eyes Café (1608).

This line includes pretty much all of my favorite eyeshadow colors - Matte Taupes, Warm Shimmers, Pastels and Smokey Greys/Blacks! Now that I think about it I kind of regret that I didn't get all of them since they're all really beautiful. I literally already have so many eyeshadows that I barely use so I just picked a few of them. For now. Hehe. The shades I got are #2 PK010, #3 PP510, #14 BK803 (Jewel), #15 PP505 (Café), #16 BK804 (Café), #18 BK807. Let's take a look!

I actually don't use pink eyeshadows that much but this one was just too gorgeous. It's a shimmering bubblegum pink. It looks really beautiful together with the PP510.

#3 PP510

This is a really beautiful frosty purple with pink undertones.

#14 BK803 (Jewel)

This is probably my favourite eyeshadow out of the ones I got this time. I love all of the shades I got but this one is definitely the most unique and beautiful. It's basically a dark grey with lots of fine multicoloured/holographic glitter in it. The glitter looks really chunky in the pan but it's slightly finer when applied. It looks like a sky full of stars.

#15 PP505 (Café)

This is a gorgeous matte burgundy with teeny tiny hints of glitter in it.

I really love a good taupe eyeshadow. Not only for my eyes, but for shading the rest of my face as well. Most products that are specifically made for contouring are usually very orange and those just don't do it for me, so I always go with taupe eyeshadows for my shading instead. It looks a bit purple in this picture but it's actually just a neutral taupe. Look at the swatches below to see what it really looks like when applied. I already have so many taupes similar to this one but I literally can't have too many because, like I said, I always use this kind of shade for shading and contouring my eyes and face no matter what kind of look I'm going for.

#18 BK807

Ugh, I just realised how horrible this pan looks. Sorry about that. I messed it up quite a bit when I was about to move it to my Etude House Eyeshadow palette before I realised that I wanted to take photos. Anyway, this was actually the first eyeshadow I picked out of the ones I got. I really needed a good grey eyeshadow and I thought that this was perfect for me. It has a slightly purple undertone and very small pink/purple glitter particles. Absolutely beautiful and perfect for smoky makeup.

One thing that all of these eyeshadows have in common is that all of them are very pigmented and last for a really long time. At last but not least they are also dirt cheap. The Normal Look at My Eyes and Café Eyeshadows are ₩3,500 and the Jewel Eyeshadows are ₩5,500.

Do you like these eyeshadows? Let me know if you want me to review the rest of the eyeshadows of this line too. And feel free to check out the last review I did on the Etude House eyeshadows here.
Thank you so much for reading and bye for now.

[Review] G&G (Dueba/Barbie) Crystal Light Green

Friday, November 18, 2016

Hello, dreamers! I'm so happy to say that after a long time I'm finally doing a review on a pair of Circle Lenses again - Kindly sponsored by PinkyParadise.com. This time I'm reviewing the G&G Crystal Light Green Circle Lenses. My natural eye color is kind of a dull green-gray so I'm always on the lookout for green lenses that can make my eyes stand out a bit more. That's why I really wanted to try out these lenses and I'm really excited to do this review. Anyways, let's get right into it!

        photo IMG_2557small_zpsczbpgtya.jpg
Packaging
My package was delivered by DHL and arrived within just a few work days. Everything came in a padded package and the lenses were safely wrapped in plastic foam. Along with my lenses, I got a free lens case and a hair holder.

Customer Service
One of the many good things about PinkyParadise is their amazingly kind and professional costumer service. They've always replied fast and been willing to help and solve any problems for as long as I can remember. There's not really much more to say about it. They're simply amazing!

Design & Color
The pattern is very simple and sheer which makes it blend in nicely into my eyes. The color is more of a neon green than I expected but once I put them on they make my eyes look a lot lighter and vibrant which I personally really like. The color goes slightly outside of my natural iris, which kind of is the point of circle lenses, but since there's just a plain color and no ring to imitate a so called 'limbal ring' it just creates a 'halo' around my natural iris. I personally think this effect is a bit strang, but to be fair It's only visible if you look really close. It's hard to explain but I'm sure you can understand what I mean by looking at the pictures below.

 photo IMG_2581_zpseo1g08hl.jpg

Enlargement
The diameter of these lenses is 15.0mm which usually means that the enlarging effect would be very large, but in this case the enlargement effect is very small. This is mostly because, like I mentioned earlier, even though the lenses are big there's no dark ring to resemble a limbal ring at the edge of the lenses which usually is an important factor in the enlarging effect. This isn't necessarily a bad thing since it's perfect for those who don't like their eyes to look too big and just want to add a pop of color to the eyes.

Comfort

One thing that surprised me is that these lenses are very comfortable. I haven't been using lenses for a very long time so I expected to feel some discomfort like I usually do when I use lenses again after a long time of only using glasses. When I tried these lenses and even wore them for a day I didn't feel any discomfort at all! Big plus!

Overall
All in all, these lenses are great if you want to add a pop of color to your eyes. Even though I wouldn't call them natural-looking, I love to use these lenses for everyday wear since they are very comfortable and they make my eyes appear to be a vibrant green without looking too fake. In any case, they definitely give your eyes a very charming and mysterious look in my opinion.

At last but not least, here are some selfies I took wearing the G&G Crystal Light Green Lenses.

[Review] Innisfree Green Tea Mineral Mist (Fine Particle Mist) 120ml / 이니스프리 그린티 미네랄 미스트 (안개분사) 120ml

Thursday, November 10, 2016

Hello, dreamers! I'm back with another review. This time I will be reviewing the Innisfree Green Tea Mineral Mist (Fine Particle Mist). Before going into this review I want to mention that I have acne-prone combination skin which easily gets very dry during winter or after I use certain (cleansing, face mask) products. When dealing with so called trouble-skin it's really important to keep your skin moisturized. If your skin is dry for a long time it will become irritated and only aggravate acne and impurities. The best solution is of course to include mosturizing products in your Skin Care routine, but Face Mist is a really great option for a quick pick me-up when you're on the go. Anyway, let's jump into the review.

 photo IMG_2488_zpszq41lnr7.png           photo IMG_2489_zpsv9whtq98.png

This facial mist is formulated with moisture from our freshly squeezed green tea to instantly deliver moisture to your thirsty skin.

[Directions] Whenever your skin feel dry, spray onto face with your eyes closed. It can be applied before and after Makeup.
[Ingredients] Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Propanediol, Dipropylene Glycol, Citrus Unshiu Peel Extract, Camellia Japonica Leaf Extract, Orchid Extract, Magnesium Sulfate, Manganese Sulfate, Opuntia Coccinellifera Fruit Extract, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Extract, Ascorbyl Glucoside, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Citrus Pradisi (Grapefruit) Fruit Extract, Chenopodium Quinoa Seed Extract, Citrus Tangerina (Tangerine) Extract, Zinc Sulfate, Calcium Chloride, Ethylhexylglycerin, Glycerin, Water, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Peg-60 Hydrogenated Castoroil, Disodium Edta, Fragrance
(I couldn't find the list of ingredients written out in English online so I had to write it down from the bottle myself. It was a pain in the butt to write down so please give me some credit if you use it.)

 photo IMG_2499_zpslgh8ksbl.png
General: There are two types of the Green Tea Mineral Mist. The "Normal Mist" and this "Fine Particle Mist". I tried both of them at my local Innisfree store before deciding to go for the Fine Particle Mist. The difference isn't incredibly big but the Fine Particle mist is noticeably finer and very lightweight.

Opinion/Result: The reason I chose this Fine Spray is because I just really like the advantages of how fine and lightweight it is. The particles are so fine that I can barely feel anything when spraying it on my face. I usually  spray this onto my face right after washing and toning. I love my cleansers, toners and masks but after doing those my skin can sometimes become dry and irritated. So using this spray afterwards really relieves any dryness and irritation. It absorbs incredibly fast and leaves a sheer layer of glowing moisture and I can jump right into the rest of my skincare routine steps or straight into my Makeup if I'm in a rush. It's extremely important that you don't put Makeup on dry skin. I can also use this on top of Makeup which is absolutely amazing because after wearing Makeup for a long day my skin can become dry and patchy. Some areas of my skin also become oily at the end of the day which is why the fine texture of this mist is so great since it will give me enough moisture without making my face more oily or ruin my Makeup.

Basically, keeping your skin moisturized at all times is an important factor in achieving healthier and better-looking skin no matter what skin type you have. It's also great for those who don't want or have tie to put that much effort into their skin care routine but just want to keep their skin moisturized throughout the day. This mist is really helps a lot in that department. I highly recommend it!

Price: The Fine Particle Spray containing 120ml of product sells for ₩14,000 while the Normal Spray containing 150ml is only ₩11,000. The price difference is super small but I was a little confused by this at first because the bottle that contains less costs more even though there's only one difference between the two products. However, it makes sense since the 120ml bottle produces very fine mist which probably makes it last just as long (or even longer) as the 150ml spray.

Repurchase? Yes! People either hate or love face mist and I'm one of those people who love it. I've tried a couple of face mists before and this has definitely become my favourite mist ever. I'm actually going to buy the 50ml bottle too so I can carry it with me anywhere. Even thought the 50ml bottle only comes as "Normal Mist" I honestly don't think there'll be a big difference.

Do you use Face Mist? Which one is your favorite? Let me know in the comments!
Thanks for reading and bye for now~
