[Overview] Etude House AC Clean Up Toner

Friday, September 16, 2016

Hello, lovelies! I'm back with a short review/overview of the Etude House AC Clean Up Toner. I ran out of my toner the other day so I decided to get this one which is apparently good for so called trouble skin. If you've read my previous skincare review you might know that I've been fighting with clogged pores and impurities for a long time so I thought this toner would be a better match for my skin type.

The first thing I noticed about this product was the smell. It smells like alcohol and it also reminds me of something else but I really don't remember what it is. But it smells pretty much like the anti-acne products you can get at the pharmacy etc. but a little bit.. more pleasant (haha)? Anyway, It's not a bad smell! For some reason this smell kind of makes me believe that it's more effective compared to products with sweeter smells and/or artificial scents.

After using this toner for about a month I haven't seen a noticeable difference on my clogged pores but I can definitely see a slight improvement whenever I get red spots (which I rarely get though). This product doesn't do much on it's own so I really think you should use more of the products to get more noticeable results. I also think the AC line is mostly suited for people who have problems with red spots, whiteheads etc.

Overall, this is a solid toner which works especially well to control the breakout of red spots. It doesn't irritate the skin nor make it dry if you have oily/combination or normal skin. I really love korean brand toners in general since even the ones that target acne skin are really gentle but still effective. This one is no exception. However, I don't recommend even this toner to people who have really dry and sensitive skin. It might burn!

That's it for this review. I hope this was helpful. Let me know what you think in the comments down below.

Thanks for reading and bye for now, lovelies~
